Mall Multiplaza Pacific
Panama City's newest and most upscale Mega Mall, Multiplaza in Punta Pacifica has just about everything you can imagine. Located across from the Hospital Punta Pacifica, Multiplaza is centrally located and very easy to get to from anywhere in Panama City. They have a website address. Not a web site, just yet, but an address. Click it and enter your e-mail address and they'll send you updates on when their site will be open. If ever. 507-302-5380 Visit Mall Multiplaza Pacific

MultiCentro Mall Panamá
Sigh.. another web site that is "under construction", and has been for two years.. MultiCentro Mall is probably the mall I go to the most often. MultiCentro has all of the standard Panamanian stores, like La Onda, and they have a great Hard Rock Cafe on the first floor, with outdoor seating. It's a little less expensive that MultiPlaza, and more pricey than Allbrook. It also houses a few banks that have extended hours, including Banco General. I use MultiCentro for the convenience. It's centrally located on Avenida Balboa, has great parking in a large garage under the mall, and is easily accessible from side streets so you can avoid Avenida Balboa. |

Albrook Mall
Albrook, the old home of the US Air Force base in Panama, is now home to arguably the largest shopping center that I have ever seen in my life. I mean, this thing is immense! If I'm at one of the ends, and have to go even half way down the thing, I go out to my car and drive. I'm serious. Let me put it this way: one part of the mall complex is a bus terminal that receives routes from all over Panama. Yes - there are dedicated bus routes from Colon and other cities to the mall. Anyway, this place has everything you can imagine, from designer stores to department stores to movie theaters to food courts (two seperate food courts in this place) and tons of resturants. |
