Just ran across this blog – Panama Strip Club For Sale. Looks like a quick and easy way to get into the strip club business in Panama.

I spent a good part of Sunday walking around the new Cinta Costera, here in Panama City, Panama. I recently bought a “real” camera, a Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xti, and am still learning how to use it. So far I’ve mastered the on/off switch and I can review pictures I’ve taken. I also learned how to switch it from Full Auto mode to Landscape mode. I’m ready for the big time.

Seriously, these pictures were taken for fun, and I wanted to show some friends, family and business colleagues what the new area looks like. I’ll try again a year from now and I think they’ll be better.

I really enjoy the Cinta Costera's pedestrian walkways.

The Cinta Costera has some very nice walking, jogging and biking trails along the waterfront.

You know, the type that pros use. Big, bulky, heavily padded with lots of zippers and compartments.

I can’t find a real camera store anywhere in Panama City.

I went to Allbrook, the home of everything under the sun. I went to Panafoto, Photura, AudioFoto and Photovision. With names like these you might think they would have some camera equipment, above and beyond the snap and shoot cameras that every store in Panama seems to sell.

Unfortunatly, what I learned was that if you are looking for blow dryers for your hair, a microwave, a beard trimmer or an air-conditioner, these places are great.

However, if you want camera gear, the best bet I’ve found so far is to go online and have it shipped. Yeah – sucks.

Does anyone know of a camera store in Panama?

We added several Panamanian government web sites this morning. Who knew how much was out there? I feel pretty stupid for not knowing about these sites before. Well, now I do, and so do you.

There are more to add, and we need to clean up the ones we added today. I really need a qualified translator and writer to do justice to the listings.
