Theatro en Circulo
The association's Circle Theatre in Panama is a nonprofit organization that was founded on January 18, 1961 by the ladies of Lupe Alfaro, Elizabeth of Nachi, Rosemarie de la Guardia, Judith of Maduro, Betty of Endara and Wendy Arnold in order to stimulate the love for the theater community. In September 1979 the association launched its own Chamber Theatre-sponsorship and collaboration with a plural number of individuals and businesses inclined to promote cultural enrichment of our society. Until then the theatrical productions are mounted in makeshift rooms in the city as inside the republic. Over the years the partners at Circle Theatre has given many young people the opportunity to demonstrate and develop their talent. Always at the forefront of culture, the Theatre has mounted a large number of works of literary and artistic value undeniable: both works produced by its partners, as well as other theatrical groups, with which the association maintains a very harmonious relationship. |
